US COAST GUARD MARINE SAFETY OFFICE Valdez, Alaska A complete rehabilitation of the existing 14,000 SF Marine Safety Office (MSO) Building to meet United States Coast Guard standards. Included upgrading and replacement of mechanical and electrical systems, seismic upgrade with exterior architectural cladding and complete communications cabling upgrade. Interior improvements included a new Vessel Trafficking Center that monitors marine vessels and office workstation reconfiguration. Housing units and dining facilities located in the building were renovated to improve the quality of life for MSO Valdez personnel.
