Tideworks Renovation SSA, Harbor Island, Seattle, WA This project was completed for Tideworks, a software research and design company. The project required the conversion of 17,000 square feet of existing office and warehouse space at the Harbor Marina Office Park into an office space for 88 employees, including workstations and conference rooms. AKS provided a preliminary pre-design study cost estimate, followed on with final design documents, and construction administration. To maintain Tideworks continual operation, the project had to be phased to allow part of the space to remain in operation while the other was remodeled. The tenants were then moved to the completed area, while the second half of the construction was completed. AKS also assisted Tideworks in working with the City of Seattle to have the space rezoned, allowing the development of the tenant space.
